Honour Boards

Honour boards display tabular data on signage screens, such as member achievement tables, leaderboards, or award listings. Each board has a configurable column structure and optional background image.

Creating an Honour Board

Open the New Honour Board modal.

Information

Field Required Default Notes
Title Yes Max 128 characters. Displayed as the board heading.
Subtitle No Max 256 characters. Optional sub-heading.
Layout Yes Landscape (16:9) or Portrait (9:16). Matches target screen orientation.
Row Display Time Yes 1 How long (in seconds) each row is highlighted before advancing.
Active No Checked Whether the board is active.

Appearance

Field Notes
Background Image Upload a background image for the board display. Single file upload.
Remove Image Checkbox to remove an existing background image (only shown when one is set).
Custom CSS Free-form CSS to customise the on-screen appearance of the board.

Adding Columns

After creating a board, add columns from the board profile page using the Add Column action.

Field Required Default Notes
Header Yes Column heading label. Max 128 characters.
Type Yes Text Data type for this column: Date (YYYY-MM-DD format), Text, or Number. Determines sorting and formatting.
Width Yes 25 Column width as a percentage of the total table width.

Column widths should add up to 100% across all columns for best results.

Managing Columns

Columns can be reordered and removed from the board profile page. Column type determines how the data in that column is sorted and displayed.

Linking to a Channel

Honour boards are assigned to channels from the board profile page. Once assigned, the board appears in the channel's content rotation.

Managing an Honour Board

From the profile page:

  • Edit — Update title, subtitle, layout, row display time, background image, custom CSS.
  • Add Column — Add a new data column.
  • Link to Channel — Assign the board to a channel.
  • Delete — Permanently remove the board.
