Playlists
Playlists are collections of image adverts and/or menu adverts that play together as a group on a channel. They allow you to manage a set of related content in one place and control how items are shown.
Creating a Playlist
Open the New Playlist modal from the playlist list page.

Playlist Modes
| Mode | Description |
|---|---|
| Show all items, in order | Every item plays each cycle, in the order they appear in the playlist. |
| Show all items, but shuffle the order | Every item plays each cycle, but in a random order. |
| Show a single item each cycle, in order | Only one item plays per cycle, advancing through the list sequentially. |
| Show a single item each cycle, but shuffle the order | Only one item plays per cycle, chosen at random each time. |
| Show up to 3 items each cycle, in order | Up to 3 items play per cycle, in order. |
| Show up to 3 items each cycle, but shuffle the order | Up to 3 items play per cycle, randomly selected. |
Adding Content to a Playlist
From the playlist profile page, use the action buttons to add content:
Add Adverts
Opens a searchable multi-select list of all available image adverts. Select one or more adverts and confirm. The playlist channels are updated automatically.
Add Menus
Opens a searchable multi-select list of all available menu adverts. Select one or more menus and confirm.
Managing a Playlist
From the playlist profile page:
- Edit — Update the name, venue, mode, and active status.
- Add Advert — Add image adverts to the playlist.
- Add Menu — Add menu adverts to the playlist.
- Remove item — Remove an individual item from the playlist.
- Suspend / Resume items — Pause or resume individual items within the playlist without removing them.
- Suspend / Resume playlist — Toggle the entire playlist on/off across all channels it is assigned to.
- Delete — Permanently delete the playlist (channel assignments are also removed).
Assigning a Playlist to a Channel
Playlists are assigned to channels from the channel profile page. When assigned, you configure scheduling options (date range, time window, days of week, and on-screen time per advert).
Content Updates
Any change to playlist membership (adding or removing items) automatically triggers a checksum update on all channels that use the playlist. This signals connected devices to refresh their content.
